Catherine Yawon is a seasoned Financial Management professional with over a decade of progressive experience in the nonprofit sector, specializing in donor compliance, financial oversight, and strategic investment planning. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance and Investment.
Her career in development finance began at Christian Aid Nigeria, where she spent nine impactful years managing complex donor-funded projects, streamlining financial systems, and ensuring compliance with both international and local regulations. During her time, she played a critical role in strengthening financial accountability and transparency within the organization and partners, earning a reputation for precision, integrity, and leadership.
Currently, she serves as a Finance Specialist at Perfect Pitch Consults, where she provides expert financial advisory services to a range of development organizations. Her work focuses on building sustainable financial structures, enhancing reporting systems, and improving grant management practices.
As a member of the Board of Trustees for the Anthony Agada Foundation, she brings a wealth of experience, a strategic mindset, and a deep commitment to the mission and values of the organization.
